I think we’re gonna let the website go when renewal time comes around in March. It has definitely been an interesting 6 years (to say the least) but it has become apparent that the internet as we have always known it is being laid to rest right before our eyes. Websites will become a thing of the past within the next five years as human attention is directed to other endeavors and “the web” becomes the exclusive domain of the soulless and the agentic. Many of you will think that we are losing something in the process. I am certain this was always the intended outcome, and nothing I have discovered since 2021 has changed my mind on that even a little.
If you consider yourself an archivist, I would begin that work in earnest now. You’ve got just under 6 months from today until this screen goes dark forever. Individual distribution points will remain until removed by their owners (Odysee, YouTube, Rumble, etc). For the record, I was never under any illusion that one day Liberty Radio would be wiped from the collective memory banks of the interwebs. It was something I had foreseen from the beginning of this project, and everything has transpired pretty much how I suspected it would play out.
The robots are indeed on their way. The AIs will ruin everything that you love in their mad dash to either take full control or trash everything beyond recognition. This is the dialectic that has been forced upon us, and its synthesis is likely to usher in something far worse. We march ever more steadily to the future promised to arrive by 2030. But hey — at least we have flying cars now.
