A few weeks back, Maddie messaged me to tell me about this book she had just picked up called Imagineers of War by Sharon Weinberger. This book claims to be the “most authoritative account we have of the Pentagon agency that has quietly shaped war and technology for nearly sixty years,” so we decided to read it together and to put it to the test.
It was only after we had already held a couple of discussions about the book that I finally had the bright idea to start recording these conversations so we could share them with the rest of the world. This is the first of those recorded conversations. I believe we are covering chapters 10-15 in this one. Feel free to fact check me on that.
