“That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.”
-Aldous Huxley
Fair warning: there is no clear narrative running through today’s links; other than what regularly stands in opposition to the presentation of the corporate media. With that in mind – let’s get to it.
Intelligence is Relative
The Intelligence Community – an oxymoron if there ever was one – continues their willful gaslighting of the American public. But then again, I have learned to expect as much from spooks.
The last time I checked, I was operating under the assumption we are supposed to believe the CRT war zone of Loudoun County, VA is the wealthiest in the nation. Maybe that was just propaganda? ZeroHedge reports that this week’s Fed’s Jackson Hole Meeting Takes Place in the Country’s Wealthiest County, in Montana. The article outlines a deliberately overlooked example of the ever-widening wealth gap, and why focusing disproportionately on wages will never solve the problem.
And there appears to be no shortage of problems these days. The lunacy of Australia’s Zero COVID policy is nothing new to those who have been observing the predator class for any amount of time. As James Corbett so deftly illustrates in this new essay, absolute zero has become the new battle cry for the oligarchy.
This is highly recommended reading for anyone still struggling to understand how the climate game is played.
In we knew this was coming news, the latest from Reclaim the Net peers into the scrying glass of our not too distant future. Ken Macon informs us Apple, Google, and Samsung Move to Normalize Vaccine Passports With Wallet Function. The article indicates that the Rockefeller Foundation-funded CommonHealth was only ever meant to be a records database. Having spent several years in the telecommunications industry myself, I started figuring this out when Apple Wallet was first rolled out in 2017. A wise man once said if the service is free, then you are the product.
From 2-Tier Societies to 2-Party Illusions
I know this one is going to hit some people where it hurts most, but we must confront our own illusions if we have any hope of moving forward into a better world. In his latest blog post, Leo Hohmann explains why Trump the Populist is Losing His Base Over This One Issue That Increasingly Defines the Times. Maybe the luster is finally starting to flake off of the golden Trump calf? But I would imagine most – if not all- of my readers are already wise to the graven image game.
Jon Rappaport’s latest post would seem to put him in agreement with Mr. Hohmann.
ZeroHedge checks back in with a pair of illusion-damaging articles. In State Street Becomes the Latest to Shutter Its NYC Offices, we learn about the factors driving the exodus of investment capital from the Rotten Apple. Then, the semiconductor shortage narrative gets turned on its head in What Chip Shortage: Inventory at Leading Chipmakers Hits Record $65 Billion. So there’s not a chip shortage, but manufactures are cutting production estimates due to the chip shortage? How does that work exactly?
Speaking of popular illusions, witchcraft, spell-casting and voodoo are just the stuff of superstition, right?
This is a powerful anecdote on the mutable nature of reality, and should be the one piece you read today if you choose to consume nothing else. I cannot recommend it enough.
What Kind of Reality Will You Create?
I probably should have put this one at the beginning; mental note made for next Monday. Off Guardian returns with their weekly news round-up for those with short attention spans and even shorter tempers.
To bring this meandering post to a close – during times like what we are witnessing today, practical knowledge proves to be one of the most valuable commodities around. Have you considered how well you would fare in an emergency situation without access to modern healthcare? Writing for the Organic Prepper, Chris Hayes states bluntly Stock Up on These Prepper Medical Supplies NOW. While not intended to be a one-size-fits-all checklist, the author provides many sensible suggestions for what to keep on hand, as well as instructional resources for those that may need them.
Here’s to hoping you never have to use that knowledge.
